At the beginning of this year (March), based on the livelihood request of our Himayam organization founder Mr. Mukilvannan, 3 needy families were selected with the financial assistance of our friends living in the UK, Mr. Brindavan and Mr. Nishanthan and were provided with 5 domesticated goats including two pairs and 1 kid.

When the domesticated goats were provided, some conditions were given to the beneficiaries and it was assured that a direct inspection would be provided once every 6 months and additional assistance would be provided thereafter.

Based on that, today (01/10/2024) Tuesday, during a direct visit to the #Tandiyadi area of ​​Batticaloa district, I was able to hear and directly observe that the goats of a beneficiary have increased and that the minimum requirements are being met.

Even though it is a livelihood project, it is imperative to observe whether there has been a minimum change in the lives of the needy through continuous monitoring.

It has been decided to provide additional assistance to the family in the future due to their excellent performance.
