The next step in the Himalayas learning development project was to provide learning materials to a needy student on International Children’s Day today (01/10/2024).
The assistance was provided to a student studying in the Advanced Level at Mad/Mame/Kannankuda Mahavidyalaya in the Parutthichenai area of Batticaloa District.
The assistance was provided to a needy student who is separated from her family and who has lost her parents.
The project was implemented through our organization’s home volunteer, Mr. Sasikumar, at the request of him.
The project was implemented through him with the financial contribution of Mr. Shanmuganathan Subashragu, a social activist living in Harrow, UK, for the welfare of our organization.
On behalf of Himayam, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to Mr. Raghu, who has been continuously providing his cooperation and contribution since the establishment of the Himayam organization.
It is noteworthy that the Himayam organization has been continuously identifying the needy through volunteers and providing assistance projects for livelihood development with the participation and cooperation of the British community.
