The next phase of Himalaya’s livelihood development project was provided to a former combatant who lost all four fingers on his right hand today, 06/10/2024 (Sunday).
A sister from the Vandharumoolai Palacholai area of Batticaloa District, who was abandoned by her husband and lives with two children who cannot speak, was provided with chickens as per her request, with the participation and direct observations of our organization’s home volunteer, Mr. Sasikumar.
The project was implemented with the financial support of our organization’s executive members.
It is noteworthy that Himalaya has been continuously identifying the needy through home volunteers and providing livelihood development assistance programs with the participation and cooperation of British community members.
